Responsibilities

• Develop complex software systems within a team setting to meet business objectives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, designers, and QA engineers throughout the development lifecycle of projects. • Lead by example in maintaining high standards for code quality, performance optimization, security best practices, and adherence to coding conventions within a team setting or as part of an individual contribution when working remotely. • Provide technical leadership on software engineering teams through mentorship roles with junior engineers, contributing to their professional growth while ensuring project deliverables are met consistently. • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback aimed at continuous improvement of the team's coding practices within a collaborative environment or as part of individual contributions when working remotely. • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements for software development projects while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives in both remote work settings and face-to-face interactions where necessary. • Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets through regular reporting mechanisms or as part of individual contributions when working remotely to ensure efficient use of resources within a team setting, while maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders for updates on statuses and potential issues that may arise during the development process. • Stay abreast of emerging technologies relevant to software engineering projects by attending industry conferences or webinars as part of professional development activities when working remotely, while also contributing knowledge sharing sessions within a team setting for continuous learning opportunities and skill enhancement among peers.
