Requirements
• Strong attention to detail + obsession with quality • Able to test complex systems with lots of edge cases (not just “happy path”) • Great written communication (you’ll work async + in Slack/Discord) • Can work independently without hand-holding • Bonus: experience testing AI/media/video tools, creative software, or pipelines • Experience with automated testing (Playwright/Cypress) • Basic technical skills (reading logs, API responses, browser devtools) • Familiarity with product QA workflows in startups • High ownership, high autonomy • Fast shipping, no corporate process
Responsibilities
• Test new features and releases across our web app + video generation pipeline • Catch regressions before they hit production (UI, backend workflows, output quality issues) • Write clear, actionable bug reports with repro steps + expected vs actual + videos/screenshots • Create and maintain test plans for critical flows (generation, editing, exports, credits/billing flows) • Help build a simple QA process that scales (release checklist, smoke tests, QA gating) • Work closely with frontend/backend/AI engineers to improve reliability and speed
