• Empower Your Team: Act as the clear point of contact for your team and its projects. Remove obstacles, unblock execution, and create an environment where engineers can focus on building impactful developer tools and platforms. • Lead Delivery and Accountability: Own the delivery of your team’s roadmap for developer experience improvements, including projects like enhancing CI/CD and build systems, optimizing cloud registries (Docker, Azure, GCP), implementing static and dynamic code analysis tools, and automated vulnerability analysis. Ensure projects are shipped with the right level of quality, reliability, and performance. • Bridge Engineering and Productivity: Partner closely with engineering teams to define the roadmap and priorities for developer experience. Scope initiatives, estimate engineering effort, and drive prioritization decisions based on developer productivity impact and technical necessity. Keep the whole team involved and engaged in the product direction. • Hands-on Technical Leadership: Stay deeply involved in architecture design, system design, coding, peer reviews, and technical decision-making for developer tooling. Lead by example and remain connected to the day-to-day challenges of the team. • Process and Clarity: Define and evolve team processes, best practices, and execution rituals for developer workflows. Ensure they remain relevant as the team and product scale.
