Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing recruiting team across G&A functions, including People, Legal, Finance, and CIO, while fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and high standards • Design and execute recruiting strategies that scale with GitLab's growth, including structured interview processes and hiring frameworks tailored to the unique demands of each G&A function • Partner strategically with senior G&A leaders to understand talent requirements, provide market insights, and guide hiring decisions through complexity and trade-offs • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout all recruiting processes and hiring decisions • Carry a personal requisition load when needed, focused on senior and specialized G&A roles, staying close to the work and modeling what great recruiting looks like for your team • Develop and mentor recruiters through coaching, feedback, and clear development plans, building team capability while keeping engagement high • Use data and analytics to track team performance, surface bottlenecks, and continuously optimize hiring strategies across the G&A portfolio • Collaborate cross-functionally with People Business Partners, Compensation, and Finance to drive workforce planning and ensure seamless candidate and stakeholder experiences
