Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical sound design or audio implementation in games • Strong experience with Unreal Engine’s native audio and Metasound Systems • Solid understanding of interactive audio systems and real-time implementation • Experience working closely with both creative and engineering teams • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Experience with mixing for atmospheric horror projects • Experience shipping at least one game title • Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Blueprints, C++, or Python) • Background in sound design, music production, or audio post-production • Experience working on horror or atmospheric games • Familiarity with console and multi-platform development constraints • Experience creating or maintaining audio pipelines • Strong Sound Design background.

Responsibilities

• Implement and own in-game audio using Unreal Engine’s built-in audio stack. • Design and maintain interactive audio systems (adaptive music, environmental audio, tension systems, etc.) • Build and refine tools, templates, and workflows that improve audio iteration and efficiency • Partner with engineering to integrate audio systems and solve technical challenges • Tune spatial audio, occlusion, and environmental effects for immersive gameplay • Optimize audio performance, memory usage, and scalability across platforms • Debug and troubleshoot audio issues throughout development • Help define and document best practices for audio implementation
