Requirements
• 2-3 years of professional experience (preferably in Logistics/Operations) • Proficiency in Excel & comfort with data • Excellent communication skills • Familiarity with supply chain processes • Problem solving, analytical and multitasking skills • A team player attitude
Responsibilities
• Assist with weekly scheduling of inbound trucks leaving and injecting around various points around the country to make our delivery SLAs • Work closely with our carrier and 3PL partners to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. Driving performance through holding partners accountable by using data and KPIs to show areas needing improvement • Monitor and report out key performance indicators such as on time delivery, claim statuses, financial performance, etc on a weekly and monthly basis. • Work with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of our deliveries from vendors to our facilities. • Work closely with our cross docking partners to build density and utilization before departing for long hauls to our facilities. • FTL/LTL coordination depending on freight requirements. • Work with our operations teams to help support our growing 3PL business and ensure KPIs are hit and tracked • Assist in managing the weekly/monthly expenses and work with AP to correct any discrepancies
