• 9+ years building web APIs, ideally in Java and Spring Boot • Deep experience with financial systems: state machines, complex lifecycles • Strong grasp of distributed systems and queue-based architectures • Proven track record scaling consumer products at high transaction volume • End-to-end ownership: design, execution, and reporting on your own initiatives • Comfortable deciding fast with incomplete information • A mentor who actively raises the bar for engineers around you • Genuine enthusiasm for AI dev tools, not just tolerance of them • Bias for simplicity over clever abstractions • Don’t meet every qualification?
