MERGE - Agentic Architect

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related technical field or equivalent experience • 7+ years of experience in API integration, micro-services architecture, or automation engineering • Deep understanding of agent frameworks, MCP protocols, and modern API standards (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks) • Experience with technical documentation and requirements gathering • Proficiency in at least one programming language for testing and prototyping • Strong technical evaluation skills with ability to quickly assess new tools and technologies • Excellent documentation abilities for both technical and business audiences • Systems thinking approach to understanding component interactions • Detail-oriented mindset for specification development • Collaborative skills for working between business and engineering teams • Hands-on experience implementing AI agents or automation workflows • Familiarity with major AI platforms and their tool ecosystems • Background in enterprise integration patterns • Experience with API governance and lifecycle management • At MERGE, we’re committed to fostering an environment where our team members can thrive in both their careers and personal lives, ensuring they feel supported and empowered to succeed. • We’re a remote-friendly, hybrid company.
