Requirements
• 4–7 years in EPM or financial systems. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a closely related field. • Practical Databricks skills with SQL or Python fundamentals. • Strong SQL and data modeling and knowledge of ERPs and financial data structures. • Understanding of accounting and financial reporting concepts. • Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to turn requirements into designs. • Organized self-starter who delivers in both collaborative and independent settings. • Experience with Workiva Wdata or connected reporting. • Hands-on OneStream configuration and build experience preferred. • CPA or prior accounting experience is a plus. • Energy industry exposure is a plus. • Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate. • Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
Responsibilities
• EPM solution design & build • Lead OneStream design for close, consolidation and planning including metadata, cube design and business rules. • Implement Data Quality controls and evaluate OneStream Marketplace solutions. • Optimize allocation and driver models to reduce manual journals and reconciliations. • Data pipelines & integration • Build governed pipelines in Databricks that pull data from ERPs then shape clean curated tables for OneStream and Workiva Wdata. • Orchestrate jobs with validations and full lineage from source to report. • Use a version-controlled release process to promote changes from dev to test to prod with automated checks and quick rollback. • Connected reporting & automation • Stand up Wdata Tables, Queries and Chains to feed Workiva spreadsheets and documents for management and SEC reporting. • Deliver interactive reporting packs and dashboards and enable self-service for Finance power users. • Execution & controls • Own orchestration of close workflows, templates and reporting cycles . • Maintain Data Quality rules, tie-outs and audit-ready documentation across platforms. • Manage change approvals and release timing to protect close. • Strategic projects & cross-functional collaboration • Partner with Finance, Treasury, Tax, IT and external vendors to scope and deliver roadmap items. • Identify inefficiencies using analytical tools and drive continuous improvement. • Serve as a key contact for external auditors on data flow, controls and evidence.
