Flexport - Senior Applied Data Scientist

• A degree in a quantitative field like Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, etc. • 5+ years of industry experience in solving optimization and/or machine learning problems and developing practically efficient, automated solutions • Experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining end-to-end data science production processes, including data modeling, algorithm development, testing, and metric tracking • Software engineering experience to build software to solve real industrial problems, with a strong understanding of system architecture • Proficient with frontier AI models to proactively identify the opportunities for business growth and operational cost saving • Proficient with Python and SQL.
