Airwallex - Senior Software Engineer, Developer Experience

• We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory. • Bachelor degree or above in computer science or engineering related majors. • A passion for building delightful developer-facing products. • Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Kotlin, Python, Typescript. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Evidence of working on high-volume distributed systems. • Strong cloud experience with GCP (preferred) or AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudFront, etc.) with Docker and Kubernetes. • Released and maintained well-known APIs or have API design experience. • Led major migrations in software that involved breaking changes. • Worked in both early-stage startups (<20) and 1000+ sized companies. • Deep proven technical knowledge of either front-end and/or backend systems. • Worked in developer experience or other customer-facing engineering roles. • Applicant Safety Policy: Fraud and Third-Party Recruiters • To protect you from recruitment scams, please be aware that Airwallex will not ask for bank details, sensitive ID numbers (i.e. passport), or any form of payment during the application or interview process.
