Responsibilities

• Own the creative vision behind Mercury’s brand – elegant, technically excellent, creative, and unmistakably recognizable. • Set strategy and vision for establishing Mercury as a new standard in design and craft within modern banking. • Oversee all marketing channel work across digital ads, outdoor advertising (OOH), video content, editorial and blog content, website presence, events & experiential marketing, physical products like credit cards and print magazine. • Ensure a consistently high bar for craftsmanship, clarity, and creativity in all communications channels. • Lead a team of 16+ talented individuals including brand designers, writers, people managers; manage external agencies and freelancers as well. • Foster an impactful work culture within the creative team to deliver excellent results consistently. • Provide hands-on reviewing with detailed feedback for pushing good work towards excellence when necessary. • Partner closely with Product Design leadership to ensure brand cohesion and product feel alignment, as well as collaborate with executive leadership in translating strategy into creative direction.
