Responsibilities
• Implement and maintain a full stack development environment. • Design, develop, deploy, test, troubleshoot, document, and support software applications across the entire technology stack from frontend to backend systems using various programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript for client side, Python or Node.js for server side, etc. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, designers, QA engineers, DevOps and other stakeholders in the software development lifecycle to ensure successful project delivery from conception through deployment. • Write clean, maintainable code that follows best practices for coding standards across all technologies used within a team or organization's stack (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript). • Continuously learn and stay updated with new tools, frameworks, libraries, programming languages to improve efficiency in development processes while ensuring the highest quality of work is delivered on time. • Monitor system performance using various monitoring tools such as New Relic or Datadog; identify bottlenecks and optimize code for better scalability when necessary. • Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing to ensure the software meets industry standards of data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). • Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers on best practices in coding styles, architectural patterns, performance optimization techniques etc. while also providing guidance for career development within a team or organization's stack as needed.
