Requirements

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain the checkout system for our e-commerce platform to ensure a seamless user experience during transactions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payment processing systems into existing workflows within the company's software infrastructure. • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code related to the checkout process in real time to minimize downtime and maintain high availability of services during peak shopping periods such as holidays or sales events. • Implement security best practices for payment processing systems including encryption standards compliance with PCI DSS requirements to protect sensitive customer data from unauthorized access, breaches, and fraudulent activities. • Conduct regular code reviews and quality assurance testing of the checkout system components using automated tools while ensuring that all changes adhere strictly to coding guidelines established by management for consistency across different parts of our software stacks. • Provide technical support on a 24/7 basis, addressing customer queries related to payment processing issues and resolving them promptly through effective communication channels such as email or live chat platforms while maintaining professionalism at all times during interactions with customers regardless of the time zone differences between Germany and other countries where we operate. • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in e-commerce payment processing technologies, including blockchain solutions for secure transactions that offer faster settlement speeds compared to traditional methods such as credit cards or wire transfers while evaluating their feasibility within our business model before making any recommendations backed by thorough research and analysis. • Attend regular training sessions on new programming languages relevant specifically towards payment processing systems development like Python, Ruby, Java etc., which are commonly used in the industry today along with other technical skills such as database management using MySQL or PostgreSQL for storing customer information securely while ensuring data integrity through backups and disaster recovery plans. • Participate actively during team meetings discussing future enhancements to our checkout system architecture which may involve adopting microservices frameworks like Spring Boot, Docker containers etc., allowing us greater flexibility in deploying updates without affecting other parts of the software stacks while maintaining high performance standards across all customer touchpoints throughout their shopping journey. • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to understand promotional strategies aimed at increasing conversion rates during peak periods such as Black Friday sales events where we often see double or triple traffic volumes compared yearly averages; this includes analyzing data analytics reports generated by tools like Google Analytics etc., identifying bottlenecks within our checkout process that may hinder customer progress towards completing purchases while providing actionable insights backed up with evidence-based recommendations for optimizing these areas accordingly. • Maintain open communication channels between different departments including IT, fin
