You enjoy collaborating across teams, learning new technologies, and delivering software that creates meaningful customer impact. • 3+ years of professional backend software engineering experience developing backend or platform services • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices • Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SSO, and SCIM • Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging technologies • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, observability, and CI/CD • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • Experience deploying and supporting applications in Kubernetes environments • Experience integrating with Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity, or Keycloak • Experience building enterprise SSO, SAML, or user provisioning solutions • Familiarity with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code practices • Experience with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana, or similar observability platforms • Experience working in a SaaS product environment • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity

Responsibilities

• As a Software Engineer at Intellistack you’ll be part of the team that develops and owns identity and authentication, policy and access control, integrations, notifications, and AI services including Omni. • Your work will directly contribute to platform security, enterprise customer adoption, product innovation, and business growth. • Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices that support internal and external platform capabilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Python • Build and enhance identity platform capabilities supporting OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SSO, and SCIM-based provisioning • Develop scalable event-driven services and integrations using Kafka • Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications running in Kubernetes environments • Partner with Product, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing platform services • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering planning • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement durable solutions • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, observability practices, and engineering automation initiatives • Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery velocity
