Requirements

• One to three years of experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, corporate communications, financial services, consulting, or a related field. • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and credible materials for external audiences. • Experience supporting corporate communications, public affairs, regulatory engagement, or stakeholder management, ideally in financial services or another regulated industry. • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a structured and reliable way. • Close attention to detail and sound judgement when working on externally facing materials. • A genuine interest in financial services, public policy, and financial regulation, and in how companies build trust, reputation, and influence over time.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of corporate communications activity, including corporate announcements, press materials, external briefings, and background notes for media and stakeholder engagement. • Contribute to building and maintaining Teya’s external voice and reputation by supporting PR activity, media messaging, industry commentary, and thought leadership content. • Assist in managing relationships with journalists, industry commentators, policymakers, and trade bodies, including preparation for meetings, briefings, and events. • Monitor financial services policy and regulatory developments in the UK and Europe (including FCA, PRA, EBA, and ECB), translating them into clear insights that inform Teya’s regulatory positioning, external communications, and internal stakeholders. • Support advocacy, public policy, and regulatory engagement by contributing to position papers, consultation responses, and regulator-facing materials that reflect Teya’s strategic priorities. • Work with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to help shape Teya’s regulatory positions on emerging rules and consultations, ensuring they are coherent, well evidenced, and aligned with commercial priorities. • Coordinate inputs from internal teams to ensure consistency between regulatory positions, policy views, and external communications across channels.
