Requirements
• Deep knowledge of the Japanese and international fashion market, particularly within the luxury bags category • Experience in luxury fashion retail, appraisal or curation in a commercial or customer-facing role • Strong understanding of valuation and authenticity within luxury pre-owned fashion • Native-level Japanese and professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act diplomatically in user disputes • Solid computer skills and ability to work efficiently with digital tools • Clear passion for fashion and maintaining high quality standards • Where you'll Be: • Where you'll Be: • This is a 100% remote role based in The United Kingdom, with daily collaboration with teams in Japan and across Europe. Therefore we do ask that you work earlier UK hours so that there is some overlap with Japanese time.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate submitted lots by reviewing descriptions, images and details, and provide fair market value estimates • Curate and optimise weekly fashion auctions to maximise quality, bidder interest and sell-through • Build and manage relationships with sellers in Japan, guiding them to create strong and compliant listings • Identify and onboard high-quality sellers through your professional network, trade fairs and fashion communities • Safeguard authenticity, transparency and platform standards across all listings • Support Customer Service in dispute cases and partner with Marketing and Sales to increase visibility and engagement • Contribute to strategies that expand Catawiki’s footprint in the Japanese fashion market
