• You've demonstrated the ability to rapidly build fluency in an unfamiliar domain through user research. • You have real knowledge of and personal investment in sports either as a fan or player. Particularly valuable for this role given the team's focus, though not required if the above is strong. • You've integrated AI tools into your design workflow for research synthesis, rapid concepting, prototyping, or exploring solutions faster than traditional methods allow. • You've been designing user-centered experiences for at least 5 years. • You’ve designed and shipped multiple native iOS and Android experiences and understand the unique interaction patterns, constraints, and opportunities of mobile design. • Your portfolio isn't just high-fidelity mockups; it showcases impact, process, sketches, collaboration, and reflection. You have at least two detailed case studies. • You've taken large problems and broken them down into bite-sized measurable chunks. • You have experience conducting user research, facilitating user interviews and user tests, digging through data, and synthesizing findings to identify trends and make recommendations. • You advocate for design by articulating and presenting the rationale behind your ideas. • You care about moving your team forward and look for ways to positively impact the team. • You're focused on results and constantly looking to improve the user experience. • You take the time to seek out and provide meaningful feedback because you know it's the best way to grow. • You are self-aware and humble. • You have experience designing for data-heavy products — turning raw information into something people can act on. • You've helped other designers or teams adopt AI tools effectively, and you're excited about shaping how a design team matures its AI practice.
