Requirements
• Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related STEM qualification with relevant experience. • Software development experience (i.e. DevOps, SDLC, Agile development, etc). • Proficient in infra-as-code and scripting tools like Ansible, Terraform, Linux shell scripts, Powershell, etc. • System operations and administration experience on enterprise systems. • At least 2 years of relevant working experience, including scripting and programming is preferred (but not required for fresh graduates).
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain a cloud orchestration portal for infrastructure provisioning, deployment management, and resource utilization monitoring. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable API services to access infra capabilities like object storage access and file transfer pipelines. • Identify repetitive tasks in the workflow of Developers and Infra Engineers with a goal to improve efficiency and system reliability. • Implement observability for monitoring purposes that aid problem diagnosis, as well as provide insights into systems health and performance. • Define, track, report on SRE metrics such as Service Level Objective (SLO), Service Level Indicator (SLI), and error budgets. • Collaborate with Developers and Infra Engineers to understand their needs for reliable infrastructure services. • Implement security best practices in the design and operation of infra systems and services.
