Requirements
• Technical knowledge: Extensive experience coding in a variety of languages such as C++, Python, and/or Rust. Responsibilities
• As a Software Development Engineer III on the Routing Cost team, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of highly trafficked production systems for our routing cost engine. Your technical contributions will include: • Lead the engineering team(s) to execute end-to-end feature implementation within the larger navigation organization (~80 engineers). • Design and implement scalable services for our API and routing engine tiers, following best practices for deployment, resilience, and observability. • Run and design experiments to evaluate the quality, reliability, and capacity requirements of our user-facing navigation products. • Work with product owners, sales engineering, and management to drive future product direction. • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure our systems remain available to customers 24/7.
