Beacon Biosignals - Forward Deployed Engineer

• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting data platform solutions (hands' on coding is required for this position) • 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role, delivering solutions directly to external partners or clients • Strong proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience designing and maintaining analytical or operational data models • Experience working directly with customers or external stakeholders to solve data-related problems, including requirements gathering, solution design, and delivery • Comfort operating across the stack—from querying and modeling data to writing application or integration code as needed • Proficiency in a data-oriented programming language such as Python, Julia, or R • Familiarity with APIs and data integration patterns (GraphQL or REST, batch exports and ELT/ETL, event sourcing, and the like) • Experience with modern analytics and BI tools such as Snowflake, Superset, Looker, or similar platforms • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences • The salary range for this role is $150,000 - 170,000.
