Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fi eld. • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management; OOH, media, or advertising industry experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting principles and tax legislation. • Proven ability to prepare and analyze complex financial reports. • Experience with ERP/accounting systems; excellent and advanced Excel skills. • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English. • Proactive, hands-on, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. • Ability to interact with employees at a variety of levels and across functions • A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations. • Ability to prioritize and efficiently handle a variety of tasks at once and to meet deadlines. • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail required • Ability to work and maintain sensitive, confidential information.
Responsibilities
• The Finance Manager will oversee and is responsible for the successful financial operations and reporting for all the EMEA entities. This includes strategic planning to support business growth and operational excellence. This role requires an analytical, detail-oriented professional who can partner with leadership to provide clear financial insights, ensure compliance, and improve processes. You need to have the ability to have an overview approach, with the ability to dig into the details and get work done. Prior experience in the out-of-home media or advertising sector is highly desirable, as it will help you navigate industry-specific revenue models, asset management, and campaign-based accounting. • The Finance Manager ensures ethics, accuracy, financial clarity and transparency while recommending and leading initiatives to improve efficiency and reporting insight. A solid logic thinker, making sure the numbers add up and checks and balances are executed and double checked. • Lead and manage day-to-day fi nance operations, including overseeing the Shared Service Center in India, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close. • Leader of the team, part of the team, motivator of the team. • Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management and stakeholders. • Monitor cash fl ow, profitability, and key performance indicators to inform business decisions. • Establishes and maintains, together with the FD, compliance with Local and US GAAP accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements. • Manage multi-currency transactions, foreign exchange risk, and inter-company reconciliations across EMEA entities • Oversee financial audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks. • Responsible for preparation and fi ling of the fiscal and statutory reports to authorities and Chamber of Commerce • Identify , assess and mitigate financial and operational risks within the EMEA region • Develop and improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting systems. • Link between the European and the US parent company fi nance organization concerning financial reports & analysis • Responsible for the continuity and control of the process to come to timely, accurate and complete monthly / quarterly/ annual and ad-hoc financial reports and analysis to internal and/ or external stakeholders • Proactively provide comprehensive reports to the Finance Director with actionable insights fortifying financial stability.
