Responsibilities

• Drive financial and customer outcomes through machine learning. • Collaborate with cross-functional business units such as marketing, acquisitions, fraud, portfolio management, collections. • Develop the data science team to add new data sources, improve modeling methodology, practice sound risk management. • Operate a data science team effectively and align it towards strategic business goals through talent development, cross-functional partnerships, technical innovation. • Apply knowledge of credit risk management within fintech contexts. • Communicate vision for applying data science to solve practical problems in the field clearly to their team members. • Create, deploy, and manage experiments and models in production systems with a focus on fundamental principles and challenges required for success. • Teach solid fundamentals of software engineering (test-driven development, code review, refactoring) as well as proficiency in the PyData stack tools like numpy, scikit-learn, polars etc. • Balance demands between rapid development speed and compliance standards/documentation within a regulated industry.

Benefits

• Target Base Range: 250,000 - 270,000 • Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program and equity are dependent on role.  Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
