Requirements
• Holds 2–5 years of hands-on laboratory or pilot-scale experience within a chemical engineering or applied chemistry environment • Possesses a degree or equivalent (HNC/HND/BSc) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with strong knowledge of gas-solid systems • Demonstrates proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel, MATLAB, or Python alongside a rigorous approach to lab safety • Who are Jack & Jill? • Ok, I'll go first. Responsibilities
• Design, build, and operate bench-scale experiments focusing on gas-solid reactions including hydration, carbonation, and calcination • Execute meticulous test plans and utilize Design of Experiments (DoE) principles to accelerate the hypothesis-test-iterate cycle • Analyze complex data sets and present technical findings to the broader engineering team to refine modular plant designs
