Oddball - Lead Full Stack Engineer (Angular/Node)
Requirements
• Strong hands-on full stack experience with Node.js and Angular in production environments. • Node.js • Angular • Prior experience leading engineers with accountability for technical delivery. • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs across distributed systems. • RESTful APIs • Cloud experience in AWS and familiarity with secure, regulated environments. • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or similar. • Terraform • Some experience with Java for integration or legacy service support is a plus. • Strong communication skills and the ability to balance stakeholder engagement with technical execution. • Performs other related duties as assigned. • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day technical execution for a team of engineers delivering new features and sustainment work for the MDP system. • Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js. • Node.js • Develop and maintain web UI functionality using Angular. • Angular • Partner with product owners, stakeholders, and delivery leadership to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. • Support cloud-hosted environments in AWS, coordinating with platform and DevSecOps teams as needed. • Implement and maintain infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. • Terraform • CloudFormation. • Establish and enforce engineering standards including code reviews, testing practices, documentation, and release management. • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and continuously improve reliability and performance. • Provide Oddball-side leadership responsibilities including mentoring, feedback, and performance support for direct reports.
