Requirements
• Proven PM Team Leadership: You've successfully managed a PM team and know how to identify talent, coach performance, and make tough decisions quickly. You balance operational rigor with practical execution. • Systems Builder with Execution Focus: • Strong Communicator & Escalation Manager: You surface issues early, structure problems clearly, and route escalations effectively. You improve how teams identify risks and communicate across functions. • Strong Communicator & Escalation Manager: • Client-Aware & Outcome-Driven: You understand client needs and ensure the PM team delivers excellent experiences. You naturally think about how delivery impacts client satisfaction and retention. • Client-Aware & Outcome-Driven: • Perfect written & spoken English • Experience managing a PM team of 8+ people • Marketing, advertising, or creative agency background • Proven track record of building PM systems and driving team performance • Experience with ClickUp, Notion, or similar project management tools • LATAM or South Africa based (for time zone alignment) • While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have: • PMP certification or equivalent • Experience with creative workflow automation or AI-enabled delivery • Background managing enterprise or high-growth accounts • Experience with Airtable or advanced PM tech stacks
Responsibilities
• Lead PM Team Performance & Development: Hire, train, and manage a team of Project Managers and Senior PMs. Run regular performance reviews with clear expectations and KPIs. Quickly identify strong vs. weak performers, coach talent, and take action when needed. Build a strong, accountable PM team where ownership is the standard. • Lead PM Team Performance & Development: • Own Delivery Execution & Accountability: Ensure every account has a clearly accountable PM with defined timelines and ownership. Hold PMs accountable for on-time delivery, proactive communication, and timely escalation. Step in when delivery is at risk and ensure PMs own outcomes, not just coordinate tasks. • Own Delivery Execution & Accountability: • Build & Refine PM Systems: Create and optimize PM systems using ClickUp, Notion, and Airtable (workflows, KPI dashboards, tracking). Ensure systems drive accountability and clarity across tasks, timelines, and ownership—not just documentation. • Build & Refine PM Systems: • Manage Resource Planning & Team Capacity: Own PM team capacity across all accounts. Ensure proper allocation of time, talent, and seniority. Anticipate hiring needs based on pipeline growth and workload demands. • Manage Resource Planning & Team Capacity: • Drive Escalation Identification & Coordination: Ensure delivery risks are surfaced early and consistently. Maintain clear visibility on at-risk accounts, active issues, and breakdown patterns. Ensure escalations are well-documented, structured with context, and routed effectively to the Head of Client Services. • Drive Escalation Identification & Coordination: • Develop PM Training & Standards: Build onboarding and training programs for PMs. Define what "being a great PM" looks like at inBeat.
