Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working on infrastructure, dev tools, or similar enabling internal systems. • Strong experience building backend services and integrations (e.g., REST/GraphQL APIs, event-driven systems, or internal service meshes). • Hands-on experience with at least one modern LLM platform or orchestration layer (e.g., AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, LiteLLM, LangChain, or similar). • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language used for backend and tooling (e.g., Ruby, Python, TypeScript/Node, Go, or similar). • Experience integrating internal services or third-party APIs into bots, CLIs, chatops workflows, or internal tools. • Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and secure-by-default patterns for handling secrets, credentials, and sensitive data. • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, translate real-world workflows into technical requirements, and communicate tradeoffs clearly. • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Experience building Slack apps, chatops tooling, or similar conversational interfaces for internal teams. • Experience designing or operating MCP/tool gateways, function-calling agents, or other agentic orchestration frameworks. • Familiarity with observability tools and practices to track AI usage, reliability, and cost over time. • Practical experience managing infrastructure on AWS with Terraform • Background working in healthcare or other regulated industries where PHI/PII handling, auditability, and compliance are critical.
