Requirements
• 🧠 Experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer with a focus on data science, machine learning, or applied AI • 🚀 Experience deploying production ML systems • 🐍 Strong skills in: Python, SQL, ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, etc.), and modern data platforms (Snowflake, Spark, etc.) • 📊 Experience working with structured and unstructured data • 🧩 Ability to translate real-world business problems into ML solutions • 🤝 Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams • ⚙️ Experience building decision systems or automation platforms
Responsibilities
• 🔧Design models and systems that help automate and optimize claims handling, including; Liability prediction, Fraud detection, Document & image understanding. • 🤝 Partner with product and engineering teams to translate claims workflows into ML solutions • ⚙️ Prototype production-ready models and data pipelines • 📈 Dive deep on early stage products to scale product market fit • 🧩 Help shape the data science roadmap and architecture across Assured’s platform
