• consistently find high-quality, autonomous, pragmatic engineers • source talent beyond the obvious channels • build a repeatable hiring engine • work closely with founders, move quickly, and drive results • What You’ll Recruit For • We’re hiring backend engineers in two core categories: • 1) Python AI / Agentic Backend Engineers • Engineers working on pipelines and AI agent modules such as: • LangGraph / LangChain pipelines • agentic search and research workflows • video understanding + extraction tools • automation pipelines that feed into our editor and video recipe system • 2) Backend Engineers for Web Applications • Engineers responsible for scalable backend systems powering: • our web-based video editor • project management + media pipelines • deployment systems and infrastructure • The Profile We Hire • We are extremely selective. We don’t care about credentials. We care about: • engineering taste • problem solving • ability to build clean systems fast without requiring micromanagement • A typical failure case we want to avoid: • Someone who brute forces solutions (e.g., extracting thousands of video frames and sending them to ChatGPT) instead of using efficient APIs and tools. • We want engineers who: • can own modules end-to-end • make smart build-vs-buy decisions • work independently with minimal oversight • 2+ years recruiting technical roles (backend / software engineers) • Proven ability to source hard-to-find talent • Strong understanding of backend engineering profiles (Python, web backend) • Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments • High ownership: you operate like a founder in hiring • Existing network in Turkey / Eastern Europe engineering talent • Experience recruiting AI/ML engineers or agentic system engineers • Previously recruited for early-stage startups (pre-seed to Series A) • Ability to write compelling outreach that gets replies
Responsibilities
• As our Tech Recruiter, you’ll own hiring end-to-end: • SOURCING & OUTREACH • 1. Find and engage engineers in Turkey and Eastern Europe • 2. Tap into communities, referrals, hidden networks — beyond LinkedIn cold outreach • 3. Build scalable sourcing systems (pipelines, templates, strategies) • SCREENING & QUALIFICATION • 1. Conduct initial recruiter interviews • 2. Qualify for independence, competence, and problem solving ability • 3. Filter out candidates who need excessive guidance or are not pragmatic • PROCESS & HIRING ENGINE • 1. Improve and operationalize our hiring process • 2. Manage candidate funnel and follow-ups • 3. Coordinate trial tasks and feedback loops • 4. Keep candidates warm and moving fast • PARTNERSHIP WITH FOUNDERS • 1. Work directly with founders
