Remote Senior NA iOS Engineer Swift UIKit Close

Requirements

• 5+ years building iOS apps, with work you can show live in the App Store • Deep Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit and Combine. You are comfortable across the iOS toolchain • An eye that catches the details other people ship past • Your own workflows for working with AI, which you keep sharpening for yourself and your team • Experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup, where you owned more than your job title • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward resolving it yourself • A view on what makes a feature succeed, not just what makes it work • MacOS, WatchOS, WidgetKit and other Apple frameworks • Experience training or fine-tuning models • Apps of your own in the App Store, built because you wanted them to exist

Responsibilities

• Ship features and interactions end to end in the iOS app • Bring your own ideas into the product, not just execute specs • Design and analyse AB tests, and act on what the metrics say • Improve our dev workflows, tooling and how the team works with AI • Work directly with design and product in a flat, collaborative structure • Support customers and stay close to what they're experiencing

Benefits

• Mission-driven impact: We are on a mission to help 1 billion people focus better every day. Our community has saved 500M+ hours and counting. • Ownership & flexibility: Structure your work to foster creativity and productivity. • Collaborative culture: A small, high-impact team that gathers bi-annually for meetups and learning. Nearly $1M in revenue per employee. • Growth & recognition: A top-30 US productivity app, Apple Design Award finalist, 4.8/5 across 60k+ reviews. Competitive compensation and early equity. • Well-supported: Backed by world-class investors and the founders of Pinterest, Snapchat and Revolut. • Screen time has become one of the defining issues of our era, affecting more than 5 billion people who carry a smartphone every day. Public awareness is rising fast, regulators are paying attention and Apple has made Screen Time a headline feature of its recent OS releases. • It is also a genuinely interesting moment to be an iOS engineer. The way apps get built has changed more in the last two years than in the previous ten. We want someone who is already living in that change, has built their own way of working with AI, and is improving it while maintaining ownership and a high bar for craft and excellence. • Here's why this is the right moment to join: • A small team where your work is visible: You'll own real surfaces of an app that millions of people open every day. • Craft is the culture: Polish is not a phase at the end of a project; it's the point. • Room to lead: This role is scoped so that it can grow into technical leadership.
