Requirements
• Strong experience building and maintaining machine learning or data science tooling in Python • Solid software engineering foundations, with a focus on clean, reusable, and well-tested code • Experience supporting or operating machine learning models in production • Understanding of the end-to-end analytical lifecycle, from experimentation to deployment and monitoring • Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams to enable scalable solutions • Experience improving or enforcing engineering and ML best practices within a wider analytics function • Experience designing shared ML frameworks or internal analytics platforms • Exposure to pricing, insurance, or other highly regulated, data-intensive domains • Familiarity with model monitoring, value tracking, or ML governance practices • Experience working in large-scale transformation or modernisation programmes
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement machine learning models for various applications within the company's product lineup. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. • Conduct data analysis and preprocessing to ensure high quality input for model development. • Evaluate existing ML algorithms or develop new ones tailored to specific use cases within the company's products. • Optimize machine learning models for better performance, accuracy, and efficiency. • Document all processes, methodologies, and findings in a clear and concise manner suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve the company's ML capabilities. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high coding standards within teams. • Provide training or mentorship for team members on machine learning concepts, tools, and best practices as needed.
