Symmetry Systems - Product Security Engineer
Requirements
• Strong software development skills, particularly in languages used in cloud-native applications • In-depth knowledge of secure software development practices and common security vulnerabilities • Experience with cloud security principles and implementing security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their impact on product design • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to balance security requirements with product functionality and user experience
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of security and automation features for our Data+AI Security platform • Collaborate closely within the rest of the engineering organization to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle • Design and implement product features that help organizations protect against various threats, including those related to AI and machine learning • Stay current with emerging security threats, trends, and best practices in product security • Contribute to developing security-related product requirements and specifications
