Polymarket - Design Engineer
Requirements
• 2+ years of professional experience in design engineering, front-end development, or a hybrid role that spans both • Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with a focus on interactions, animation, performance, and polish • Deep understanding of design principles: typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy • Experience working with Figma, design tokens, and design systems to close the gap between design intent and production reality • An eye for detail that borders on obsessive. You notice things other people miss and you care about fixing them • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design and technical decisions clearly • A genuine passion for markets, truth, and freedom of speech • (Plus) Understanding of DeFi and financial markets, a willingness to develop that understanding is a must
Responsibilities
• Build and prototype. Write the code behind new UI components, animations, and interactions that elevate the product experience.
