Skyral Group - Simulation Content Engineer

• You will operate a content ecosystem tightly integrated with our software development tools, ensuring that models, data, and simulation components are correctly described, governed, versioned, and ready for use in real systems. • Highly organised and detail-oriented. • Strong sense of ownership over data quality and governance. • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Curious and investigative, able to research external content sources. • Pragmatic, able to balance governance with delivery pace. • Communicates clearly and pushes back when standards are not met. • Comfortable working with modern engineering tooling and cloud-native concepts. • Key Technical Proficiencies: • A solid working understanding of modelling and simulation, including different types of models and associated data sets, and how these are used in training systems. • Strong understanding of metadata management and data governance principles, and content lifecycle management. • Experience defining and enforcing metadata standards, classification schemes and versioning strategies. • Hands-on experience with Git including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews and release workflows. • Understanding of GitOps principles and using Git as a control and governance mechanism. • Understanding of OCI registries and artefact storage, including linking content definitions to versioned artefacts. • Comfortable working with JSON/YAML, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CLI-based tooling. • Ability to work in a cloud-native environment and understand how content is deployed and used in running systems. • What We Can Offer You: • 🌴Unlimited Paid Holiday - we value and support the need to maintain a strong work-life balance. • 🏡 Hybrid Working - we understand that a one-size-fits all approach doesn’t suit everyone. • ⏰ Flexible Working Hours - We’re not bound by the 9-to-5 model.
