Requirements
• 3+ years of professional plumbing experience (residential, commercial, or service work) • Interest in mentoring and helping career changers enter the trades • Strong communication and teaching ability • Availability at least three evenings per week, ideally Tuesday–Thursday • Self-starter mindset — comfortable leading workshops independently • This role is a great fit if you: • Enjoy teaching and mentoring • Want flexible, side income • Like the idea of being paid to teach — with optional upside • Don’t need guaranteed hours or full-time income
Responsibilities
• Host a live, one-hour workshop on a monthly basis. • Answer student questions about plumbing careers and the job search. • Share real-world insight into what entry-level plumbing roles and apprenticeships actually look like. • Provide optional 1:1 coaching to students who request it.
