Requirements
• Experience in Transit Technology sales and/or government agencies: ideally 4+ years. • Passion for Urban Planning and/or the transit industry. • Understanding of types of transit systems, regulations, funding structures (knowledge required). • Excellent communication skills with verbal, written, and presentation abilities to communicate effectively across a wide range of audiences in personable ways. • Availability for frequent travel within Canada and the USA. • Academic background in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Sociology, Sustainability (considered plus). • Experience in transit tech company or agency preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
• Drive revenue growth with our existing customers through product and industry expertise. • Establish as a key contact for customer satisfaction and business retention alongside Partner Success. • Develop and maintain strong relationships to understand needs and identify up-sell, cross-sell, expansion opportunities, ensuring contract renewals. • Educate customers on current and new product features, benefits, and configuration options to optimize their use of Spare’s platform and products. • Own account planning for customers at large transit agencies and operators. • Provide weekly feedback & forecasting on all account activity with excellent CRM adoption managing pipeline and plans. • Work closely with champions, stakeholders to develop proposals and business cases for large scale deployments. • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development team in developing account-based marketing and sales strategies. • Build a deep understanding of Spare’s products and key markets while maintaining ongoing learning about new features and improvements. • Partner with customers through thought leadership, industry best practices, and product knowledge to influence them positively. • Share customer feedback with Product, Engineering, and Partner Success teams for continuous improvement.
