Requirements
• Proven experience in application deployments in enterprise or large-scale environments. • Strong understanding of Windows OS administration and IIS configuration. • Hands-on experience with GitHub, branching strategies, CI/CD workflows, and release processes (experience in AWS, Jenkins is an added advantage). • Proficiency in scripting languages, preferably Python and PowerShell. • Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues across different application tiers. • Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills. • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities. • Willingness to work in fast-paced, time-sensitive deployment environments (including Complete night shift).
Responsibilities
• Perform and manage application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, SRE, and Operations to ensure smooth deployment cycles. • Troubleshoot deployment issues, identify root causes, and drive quick resolutions. • Configure, maintain, and administer Windows servers, IIS, and related deployment components. • Work with GitHub for version control, repository management, and deployment workflows. • Create and maintain automation scripts using Python and PowerShell to improve deployment efficiency. • Ensure adherence to deployment standards, documentation, and release management processes. • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying automation opportunities and deployment optimizations. • Maintain configuration documentation and deployment guidelines.
