Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or systems architecture customer-facing role. • Experience with the SDLC, cloud architecture, or DevOps practices. • Working knowledge of cloud platforms, with hands-on experience in at least one (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). • Demonstrated ability to support and document proof-of-concept engagements and build credibility with technical stakeholders. • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field — or equivalent experience. • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as PII, PCI, or HIPAA is a plus. • 15% travel required • Modern software delivery was supposed to be the foundation for a thriving digital business but reality has proven otherwise. And by gradually rolling out new application components, they escape nightmare "big-bang" technology migrations. • The LaunchDarkly platform was built to guide engineers to the next frontier of DevOps by: • Improving the velocity and stability of software releases, without the fear of end customer outages • Delivering targeted experiences by easily personalizing features to customer cohorts • Maximizing the business impact of every feature through the ability to experiment and optimize • Coordinating the release and optimization of software to provide consistent experiences across mobile platforms and device types • Improving the effectiveness and productivity of engineering teams, by providing insights into engineering cadence and stability

Responsibilities

• Support technical discovery, contribute to architecture discussions, and build proof-of-concept implementations throughout the pre-sales lifecycle. • Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to craft compelling technical value propositions. • Deliver demonstrations, workshops, and proposals tailored to technical and business stakeholders. • Build strong customer relationships, identify key technical contacts, and serve as a reliable technical resource throughout the sales cycle. • Gather and relay customer feedback to internal Product and Engineering teams to help inform product direction. • Contribute to the improvement of SE tools, processes, and shared resources to support team effectiveness. • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of LaunchDarkly's platform, integrations, and relevant industry trends. • Respond to RFPs and manage technical environments to support enterprise sales motions. • Translate client requirements into technically sound solutions, working through a wide range of issues in creative ways. • Participate in industry events and customer engagements, representing LaunchDarkly's technical capabilities.
