Living Carbon - Project Development Manager

• 4-7 years of experience in project management, product management, product operations, consulting, or a generalist business role, ideally in a startup, growth-stage company, infrastructure, or climate-adjacent environment • Demonstrated track record of building and managing cross-functional workflows and keeping diverse teams aligned toward a common deliverable - you keep all the trains running on time • Experience preparing reporting or materials that synthesize complex operational activities for investors, project finance partners, or senior leadership • A business builder mindset - you understand how operational excellence connects to commercial outcomes and are motivated by the challenge of scaling something that matters • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail - you are the kind of person who builds the system, not just follows it • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical or complex information into clear, actionable narratives for both internal teams and external stakeholders • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and creating structure where it doesn't yet exist • A collaborative, team-first orientation - you are energized by helping others do their best work, not just by doing your own • Mission-aligned and genuinely curious about carbon projects, natural climate solutions, and the challenge of developing high-integrity environmental assets at scale • Experience in carbon markets, natural resource management, environmental finance, or climate-related project development is a plus, but not required • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, environmental science, economics, or a related field; MBA or graduate degree a plus but not required • $115,000 - $150,000 a year • This is not a typical project management job.
