Zeta Global - Senior Software Engineer, Identity
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in backend and/or data engineering at enterprise scale. • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with expertise in API design and distributed systems. • Experience with Kafka, streaming frameworks (Spark/Hive/Flink), and schedulers (Airflow/Luigi). • Proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS cloud deployment practices. • Knowledge of SQL, complex data modeling, and high-throughput NoSQL/columnar databases (Aerospike, Snowflake, Scylla, etc.). • Experience designing multi-tenant distributed systems or real-time streaming frameworks (Flink/Storm). • Knowledge of open table formats (Iceberg, Hudi, Delta Lake) and security/privacy frameworks.
Responsibilities
• Design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution, graph transparency, and platform integrations. • Optimize event-driven pipelines processing billions of signals. • Deploy and operate cloud-native services on EKS/Kubernetes using Helm. • Ensure absolute reliability, observability, and scalability across services and data pipelines. • Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver identity solutions and mentor junior engineers.
