Requirements
• 2+ years of professional experience in software development. • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. • A strong desire to move fast and have a significant impact. • Hands-on experience building with AI/ML APIs or LLMs, you've shipped something real using AI, whether in a production environment or a meaningful side project. You think critically about where AI adds genuine value and how to integrate it responsibly into a product. • An entrepreneurial mindset, eager to take ownership and contribute new ideas to solve challenging problems. • Ability to analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources. • Demonstrates strong collaboration skills and team spirit.
Responsibilities
• As a Software Engineer at GlossGenius, you'll play a critical role in shaping a platform that powers over 100,000 small businesses and processes more than $3 billion in payments annually. Engineers work on high-impact initiatives that support our rapid growth and evolving scale. Examples of your potential responsibilities include: • Develop, release, and run large-scale web applications that empower beauty and wellness businesses to operate and grow. • Build new AI features for our customers. • Develop and define our microservice-based infrastructure. • Build tools and solutions that enable internal teams to work faster, more effectively, with more confidence, and improve the value they can provide our users (Business Scalability team). • Work on core experiences such as making payments friction-free for clients and customers, building tools to help customers earn more per hour, or enabling businesses to effortlessly grow and manage their teams. • Focus on front-end development, crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences for our web and mobile applications. • Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security for our backend systems.
