The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program. • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field • 10+ years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on SaaS products and large-scale, complex systems • 10+ years • 5+ years of experience managing a team of 6+ engineers • 5+ years • 4+ years of experience building and operating secure, highly available backend systems with modern languages (e.g., Go, Java, TypeScript/Node, Python) • 4+ years • Experience building and operating financial systems at scale • Hands-on experience scaling contractual variations and supporting financial systems in a SaaS or healthcare environment • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, understanding data models, and experience with data pipelines • Knowledge of healthcare billing practices and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST) • Proven track record of leading technical projects and process improvements in complex organizational environments • Effective conflict resolution and resource management skills to navigate challenging tradeoffs • Ability to creatively leverage AI to solve complex problems and enhance billing operations • At Hinge Health, we’re using technology to scale and automate the delivery of healthcare – starting with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, which affect over 1.7 billion people worldwide.
