Responsibilities
• You’ll implement high-quality features and improvements in a modern web application. • You’ll design solutions that ensure scalability, security, and maintainability. • You will collaborate with product management, design, and engineering toward viable product development changes from discovery to delivery. • You will work closely with other developers through pair programming, code reviews, and alike. • You can work remotely from anywhere in Switzerland or join us on-site in our St. Gallen office, with the flexibility to choose your best work environment. • You're experienced in backend software engineering, while having basic frontend engineering knowledge is useful. • Ideally, you code with PHP or are willing to learn. Knowledge of TypeScript and other languages is welcome. • You love to write readable, reusable, scalable, and well-tested code. • You don't shy away from dealing with legacy code. • You fend off the dreaded 'big ball of mud' by keeping coupling low, cohesion high, and SOLID principles close at heart. • You hold strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • You have excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • You speak English fluently. • We understand that every candidate’s experience is different.
