Responsibilities
• As a Senior Product Manager for Govern—Immuta’s flagship authorization product—you’ll define the product vision and drive execution across the organization. Your success will be measured by customer satisfaction, user adoption, and tangible business impact. • HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT • Shape the Future of Data Authorization: Define and evolve the vision for policy-based access control, helping enterprises securely scale their data usage across cloud environments. • Simplify Multi-Cloud Data Access: Drive product strategy and capabilities that make it easier for customers to manage secure data access across complex, distributed systems. • Champion Customer-Centric Innovation: Engage deeply with customers through preview programs and ongoing conversations to ensure the product direction aligns with real-world needs. • Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Partner closely with engineering, design, product marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams to bring impactful product experiences to life. • Navigate Ambiguity with Precision: Make thoughtful product decisions at both strategic and granular levels—from long-term roadmap to detailed UX choices. • WHAT YOU’LL OWN • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Govern • Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable product plans • Partner with engineering and design to deliver scalable, high-quality features • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption • Lead customer discovery efforts, including interviews, feedback loops, and preview programs • Analyze product performance and iterate based on data and user insights • Advocate for usability, performance, and security across the product lifecycle • YOU ARE A GOOD FIT IF YOU • Worked in databases or data platforms owning access controls for modern, cloud-based data warehouses or data lakes. • Worked for a vendor in the data ecosystem, cloud or on-prem, with exposure to access controls. • Worked in consulting in the data space, hands-on with Fortune 500 companies, implementing modern data platforms and their access controls. • WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT • 5+ years of experience working with cloud-native data platforms, data warehouses, data lakes, data engineering, APIs, ETL/ELT and SQL, and query engines (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Trino) • Proven ability to make high-quality product decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments • Deep user empathy and the ability to translate complex customer needs into intuitive product solutions • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, design, and go-to-market functions • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Familiarity with using LLMs or AI tools in product workflows (e.g., Claude Code or similar for PRDs, prototyping, or development) • $155,000 - $190,000 a year • The On-Target Earnings (OTE) range is $170,500 - $209,000 • To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all U.S.-based job postings. Our salary ranges are based on function, level, and geographic location, and are benchmarked for our company size and industry. • The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, experience level, skill set, and training. The range shown above reflects the good-faith hiring range for this role at the time of posting, consistent with applicable state and local pay-transparency laws. Pay ranges may be adjusted in the future to reflect market changes. • This role may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission, variable pay, or equity, and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and other applicable company programs.
