Requirements
• At least 3 years experience in a role where you were responsible for managing a team of software engineers and everything that comes with it. • Manage and grow a high-performing, inclusive team by coaching engineers and developing future leaders. Foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and career growth through regular feedback and performance management. • The ability to create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment in which everyone is supported, encouraged, and meaningfully challenged to do great work. You motivate and inspire others. • You take ownership of your team’s outcomes and feel confident making decisions in ambiguous situations while empowering others to do the same. You remain calm under pressure, make informed decisions with limited data, and support your team through uncertainty. • Contribute to cross-team and departmental initiatives that support broader engineering strategy and continuous improvement. • You have significant hands-on development experience and have engineered your way out of many complex, unscoped problems. Having lived the life of a senior developer before, you leverage your own experience to coach and train up the developers on your team. • You are willing to engage directly with technical challenges when needed and lead by example. • Provide technical leadership to developers both in your team and across the engineering organization. • You have successfully coordinated and delivered large-scale projects before that touched multiple areas of the business, product, or underlying architecture. • Scope, plan, and drive execution of initiatives with your team. Ensure accountability to goals, timelines, and quality standards, proactively removing blockers along the way. • Ensure your team is accountable to goals and timelines, proactively resolving blockers and aligning execution with scope and quality. • Cascade relevant updates and priorities to stakeholders and collaborating teams, ensuring transparency and alignment on roadmaps and progress. • What you can expect: • Hire and manage engineers of varied levels, ranging from junior to staff.
