EarnIn - Senior Fullstack Software Engineer
Requirements
• 4+ years of development experience in a fast-paced environment. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience. • Experienced in building and maintaining end-to-end web applications using modern backend languages (e.g., Go, C#, Python) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript), with a strong focus on scalable architecture and user-centric design. • Hands-on experience working with relational databases. • Cloud experience, AWS preferred. • Experience managing infrastructure and service configurations using Configuration as Code (e.g., Helm, Kustomize, Terraform). • Deploy and operate backend services in a Kubernetes-based environment, optimizing for resiliency, scalability, and performance. • Comfort collaborating across the stack, including working closely with design and product to translate requirements into user-facing functionality. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar tools) as part of your software development workflow • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong bias toward action and results. • A Note on AI in the Hiring Process: EarnIn may use Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered tools during the hiring process, including tools that generate summaries or notes for interviewers, review resumes, assist with scheduling, or help identify themes across candidate responses and profiles for a given role. Responsibilities
• Design & build key components for EarnIn’s time-and-attendance system. • time-and-attendance • Develop robust, secure, and scalable backend services and APIs (Golang) while contributing to intuitive, accessible user-facing frontend (ReactJS) features for our new time & attendance product. • backend services and APIs • frontend • time & attendance • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-impact features that meet the needs of customers end to end. • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable backend microservices for EarnIn’s payroll products. • Investigate and resolve production issues across the stack with a focus on root cause analysis, long-term stability, and continuous improvement. • Contribute to building a modern, best-in-class platform that handles time-critical workflows with precision and reliability. • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, maintainability, and alignment with project requirements, while providing constructive feedback to team members across backend and frontend codebases. • Ensure the delivery of high-quality software features within established timelines.
