Requirements
• Experienced Engineer (5+ years preferred) with a track record of ownership across the full product lifecycle. • Passionate about building user-facing products and working closely with real users to shape impactful solutions. • Strong foundation in modern full-stack development (Typescript, Node.js, React, Postgre) • Experienced in B2B or Fintech environments, particularly in information- or compliance-heavy domains. • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, working independently, and iterating quickly in a startup environment. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. • This is a global role requiring coverage of Europe, UK, and Israel time zones, with regular overlap into Asia or US working hours to enable cross-regional collaboration.
Responsibilities
• Product Development & Engineering • Design, build, and ship software features end-to-end, from conception to deployment and iteration. • Translate real-world tax and accounting workflows into elegant, scalable software systems. • Collaborate with product and design to define requirements, prioritize work, and ensure seamless user experiences. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with an eye for scalability and performance. • User-Centered Problem Solving • Work directly with tax professionals to understand their needs and pain points. • Translate user feedback into actionable product improvements and technical solutions. • Prototype and iterate rapidly to validate ideas and deliver value fast. • Collaboration & Process • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other Engineering and AI teams to integrate data-driven automation into product workflows. • Contribute to best practices, documentation, and process improvements that help the engineering team scale efficiently. • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning. • Continuous Improvement • Stay current on modern engineering practices, emerging technologies, and domain trends within fintech, accounting, and AI automation. • Contribute ideas that elevate our products, codebase, and development culture.
