Requirements

• Law degree (LL.B. / J.D.) from a recognized institution. • 4-7 years of post-qualification experience, with demonstrated success in digital assets and/or fintech sectors. • Strong research skills and analytical thinking. • Negotiation, drafting, and legal skills. • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with compliance, operations, and product teams. • Strong ethical judgment, analytical acumen, and business-minded approach. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Preferred Attributes • Prior experience in fast-scaling fintech, Web3, or technology environments. • Familiarity with crypto and digital asset regulatory landscapes. • Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable business guidance. • Capable of working independently in a remote setting. • Highly motivated and proactive. • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Solutions-oriented mindset. • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Legal and Compliance in providing day-to-day legal support to senior management and internal teams. • Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders. • Review, draft, and manage commercial agreements such as NDAs, MOUs, service, partnership, and vendor contracts under supervision. • Conduct legal research on corporate, fintech, and technology-related regulations across relevant jurisdictions, and continuous monitoring of the same. • Support in handling corporate secretarial tasks, including board documentation, policy updates, and record-keeping. • Provide assistance in legal advisory areas such as employment, IP, data protection, and contract interpretation. • Support in strategic initiatives, capital raising, and M&A transactions. • Liaise with external counsel, auditors, and regulatory bodies on complex or high-stakes matters. • Handling investor-related issues, communications and cap table management. • Support licensing, registration, and regulatory engagement processes. • Support corporate structuring and international expansion initiatives.
