• 5+ years of experience in merchant underwriting, credit analysis, or a similar role • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent experience required • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis. • Proven ability to assess business models and identify credit risk exposures. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of financial statement analysis. • Demonstrated ability to make sound judgment, balancing risk and reward • Experience within Customer Due Diligence (KYC and KYB.) • Adopt a ‘customer first’ mindset to deliver creative solutions as well as ‘act with urgency’ to ensure escalations are prioritized, owned and resolved effectively. • High performance mindset defined by rigorous discipline and execution intensity • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Leading by example, you will demonstrate our core Values and live out our Operating Principles in everything you do • Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members. • Expertise in a specific industry vertical. • Fluency in an additional European language (ideally Spanish, French or German) • It’s important we set you up for success and make our process as accessible as possible.
