Telnyx - GTM Systems & Automation Lead
Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Systems, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, GTM Engineering, or a closely related technical operations role • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and adjacent GTM systems such as Marketo, Salesloft/Outreach, enrichment tools, routing tools, Zapier/workflow automation, or similar platforms • Experience debugging integrations, field sync issues, routing problems, campaign workflow failures, and broken handoffs • Comfort working with APIs, webhooks, automation tools, data flows, and technical documentation • Ability to distinguish between a one-off admin request and a repeated workflow that should become a system or automation • Strong process design and documentation habits • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments • Experience supporting AI-assisted workflows, agent-driven processes, or LLM-enabled GTM operations • Experience with marketing attribution, campaign operations, lead enrichment, or sales engagement workflows • Familiarity with Python, SQL, or lightweight scripting for automation/debugging • Experience replacing brittle vendor glue with owned workflows or more durable automation patterns • Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS or infrastructure company • What Success Looks Like
Responsibilities
• Lead cross-functional GTM systems programs from discovery through launch, adoption, and iteration • Translate business workflows into clear technical requirements, system designs, milestones, owners, risks, and success metrics • Partner with RevOps, Engineering, Data, Sales, Marketing, CS, and Finance to modernize the GTM operating layer • Drive programs around CRM architecture, routing, enrichment, handoffs, lifecycle automation, attribution, service order workflows, reporting dependencies, and AI-agent readiness • Identify where manual work, vendor glue, or unclear ownership should become durable automation or owned system logic • Define safe operating patterns for AI agents interacting with GTM systems, including data access, workflow permissions, approval gates, error handling, and auditability • Create documentation that makes systems understandable: current state, target state, business rules, dependencies, failure modes, launch plans, and open decisions • Triage systems requests at the program level: distinguish one-off fixes from structural process gaps or productizable automation opportunities • Manage vendor and tooling dependencies where they affect system architecture, reliability, cost, or roadmap decisions • Ensure GTM systems work ships with clear ownership, support paths, monitoring, and downstream reporting impact understood • Build a deep understanding of Telnyx’s GTM systems, customer lifecycle, data model, and revenue workflows • Build your personal AI leverage layer: onboard an agent to Telnyx’s GTM context, teach it the relevant systems and workflows, and create reusable skills that increase the speed and quality of your product discovery, documentation, analysis, and execution • Map the highest-leverage opportunities to modernize the CRM and GTM operating layer, with a bias toward areas where we can ship quickly and learn from real usage • Deliver the first set of product requirements for CRM evolution, AI-agent workflows, data model improvements, or automation surfaces • Partner with RevOps, Sales, CS, Finance, Data, Product, and Engineering to define and begin executing the first roadmap for AI GTM Systems • Ship or directly drive early improvements to one or more high-friction GTM workflows, such as CRM data quality, routing, handoffs, reporting dependencies, service order workflows, or agent-assisted work • Establish feedback loops with users so shipped changes are measured, adopted, and iterated quickly • Identify the next product surfaces where AI agents can safely reduce manual work and improve revenue-team effectiveness • Over time, success means: • Telnyx has a clear product roadmap for its AI-native GTM operating system • CRM, workflow, and automation investments are driven by user needs, business impact, and system scalability • High-friction GTM workflows are continuously improved, shipped, measured, and iterated • Repeated manual work becomes owned system logic, durable automation, or agent-assisted workflow • Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, RevOps, and Engineering operate from cleaner data, clearer ownership, and more reliable systems • Engineers spend less time on reactive GTM systems issues because requirements, ownership, and operating paths are clearer • AI agents and automation can depend on clean data, safe integrations, clear permissions, reliable workflow rules, and well-defined approval boundaries • Revenue teams spend less time maintaining systems and more time acting on trusted customer intelligence
Benefits
• The next phase of GTM scale will not come from adding more tools and more manual processes. It will come from building systems that let humans and AI agents work together efficiently. • This role is the connective tissue between today's GTM operating stack and the future bot-facing systems layer. You will help keep the current business running while building the operational foundation for a more automated, AI-powered growth engine.
